Wendell and I have had many firsts together......and this past Sunday we added yet another to that list.....a brand spankin' new car! The 2010 Kia Soul....ch...ch....check it out!
Zee front
Zee Driver's Area
This is the section I'll be using the most!
Speakers that light up to the beat of the music!
More of the front area
Check out those seats!
Love that logo
Zee Moon Roof
Zee Passenger Side
Some more of those pimped out seats
A roomy backseat (this angle doesn't do it justice)
Soul Booty
Plenty O' cargo space, plus folding seats
And one final look at our wicked new ride!
It may not be a Mercedes.....but it's funky.......it suits us.......and doesn't hurt our wallet. Oh, and did I mention we are the first people in Louisville to own one? Two firsts for the price of one! The perks:
- 34 miles to the gallon
- 10,000mile/7 year bumper to bumper warranty
- Roadside assistance that tops what AAA provides
- A killer soundsystem, complete with tweeters and a subwoofer! What more could two music junkies ask?
- Free Sirius satellite radio for 3 months
- Built in blue tooth for handsfree convos
- 2 front and 2 rear power outlets, usb port, plug in your iPod and/or laptop!
There's more but I don't want to sound too much like a commercial, well moreso than I already do. Come visit....we'll take you for a spin!

Man, Isaac Hayes would be proud of that soul...looks nifty!
soul booty! classic. Cory wants the seats.
Man, that car fits your personality perfectly. It's totally cute and I love the design of those seats! It's clean and beautiful. Good for you. ;)
P.S. - I've officially added your blog page to my favorites. I'll be checking in frequently. :)
That's cool, didn't know those were actually available at the dealers yet.
we literally snagged this one only a couple of hours after it rolled off the truck.
Your comment on Suburban Turmoil's blog was so funny that I cried...seriously. Also...that car is awesome. Want it.
cute car, thank goodness it didn't get hit by the fire!
as you can tell I've fallen behind on reading my blogbuds!!
Congrats on the new car. I bought a 2001 Kia Rio back in August 2000 it was neat to pull the plastic off the seats when it came off the truck. Man, that warranty comes in handy. Unfortunately, the car was in the shop more than I would like to admit and now almost 9 years later the car is rusted out underneath and nearly to its 100,000 mile mark I will be trading it in (scraping it really) and never buying a KIA again. I hope you have better luck than I did. On a separate note I bought a 2006 Toyota Matrix in 06 when I traded in our 2001 Pontiac Sunfire and still love it to this day. I think I see a Toyota Highlander Hybrid in my near future.
